What is Podcast Index?

Install

1. Open AN Player and go to the Plugins Screen.
2. Find Podcast Index in the official plugins list.
3. Install the plugin and open its configuration page.

Configure Plugin

Podcast Index requires your own API credentials.

1. Open the plugin configuration page from AN Player.
2. Open Podcast Index signup in a new tab and create or sign in to your account.
3. Copy your API Key from Podcast Index.
4. Use the corresponding API Secret.
5. If the site only shows a key, use the strong password that Podcast Index sent during signup as the secret.
6. Paste both values into the plugin configuration page.
7. Optionally customize the User Agent and Episode Fetch Limit.
8. Tap Save.

If you only paste one token, the plugin will stay empty on the home screen. The Podcast Index plugin needs both the API key and the corresponding secret before it can load any content.

Once configured, the plugin unlocks podcast search, trending feeds, recent episodes, live items, and creator discovery inside AN Player.
