OneDrive ​

What is OneDrive? ​

  • OneDrive: Microsoft's cloud storage service for personal Microsoft accounts, work or school accounts, and Microsoft 365 organizations.
  • Features:
    • Browse folders and subfolders in your OneDrive.
    • Search for audio and video files by name.
    • Stream music files (MP3, FLAC, OGG, WAV, AAC, and more) directly in AN Player.
    • Stream video files (MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WebM, and more) directly in AN Player.
    • Optionally limit browsing to a specific folder using the root path setting.
    • Optionally connect a specific drive by ID, useful for some OneDrive for Business or SharePoint libraries.

Install ​

  1. Open AN Player and go to the Plugins Screen.
  2. Find OneDrive in the official plugins list.
  3. Install the plugin and open its configuration page.

Configure Plugin ​

OneDrive requires an access token to read your files. Use the button below to sign in with your Microsoft account and get a token automatically.

Configure in AN Player ​

  1. Copy the access token from above.
  2. Open AN Player and go to the OneDrive plugin configuration.
  3. Paste the token into Access Token.
  4. Leave Drive ID empty for your default OneDrive.
  5. Optionally enter a Root Path if you want AN Player to start inside a specific folder, such as /Music or /Videos.
  6. Tap Save.

Optional Settings ​

  • Drive ID: Leave this empty for most personal OneDrive accounts. Use it only if you know the exact Microsoft Graph drive ID for a OneDrive for Business or SharePoint document library.
  • Root Path: Leave this empty to browse from the top of your drive. Enter a folder path like /Music if you only want AN Player to show that folder and its contents.

If Nothing Loads ​

If your files don't appear after saving, check the following:

  • The access token may have expired. Microsoft Graph access tokens are temporary, so create or refresh the token and paste the new one.
  • The token may not include file-read permission. Make sure it was created with Microsoft Graph file access such as Files.Read.
  • The root path may be wrong. Make sure it starts with / and matches an existing folder, for example /Music.
  • The drive ID may be wrong. If you are not sure, leave Drive ID empty and try your default OneDrive first.
  • A work or school account may block third-party apps. If this happens, your organization may need to approve the app.
