  3. Install the plugin and open its configuration page.

Configure Plugin

Jamendo requires a free Client ID to access the API.

Step 1: Get a Client ID

  1. Go to Jamendo Developer Portal in your browser.
  2. Sign in with your Jamendo account (create a free account at jamendo.com if you don't have one).
  3. Go to My Apps and click Create an Application.
  4. Fill in the form with any name (e.g. "AN Player") and a website URL (can be anything).
  5. After creation, you will see your Client ID. Copy it.

Step 2: Configure in AN Player

  1. Go back to AN Player and open the Jamendo plugin configuration.
  2. Paste the Client ID into the Client ID field.
  3. Optionally adjust:
    • Audio Format — the format for streaming (e.g. mp32 for MP3 at 320kbps, ogg for OGG format).
    • Image Size — the size of album artwork and artist images.
  4. Tap Save.

If Nothing Loads

If music doesn't appear after saving, check the following:

  • The Client ID may be invalid — go back to the Jamendo Developer Portal and verify it.
  • Your Jamendo account may not be verified — log in to Jamendo and check your email verification status.
  • Make sure you copied the Client ID (not the Client Secret).
